First off, the show is great! I don't know why more people don't get sucked in right away. Maybe if there was an execution on the first show right after the first competition (within the first half hour), that would surprise people and get them into the show.
I am so jealous of the players. The waterfall game was fantastic and looked very difficult. And I would love to visit Chile and wherever else they all end up. Awesome.
I like how the producers got rid of the "here's what's coming up after the commercial" and "here's what just happened before the commercial" bit that every reality show does. I also like the touch screen for eliminations, but think each player should have to input their own thumbprint, since that's kind of a theme. Or maybe they could do it from their seat. That would be cool.
Jon Kelley seems okay, but he's no Darwin. I can't believe the producers don't hire him. Kelley kind of gives the show a "Hi. Welcome to Moviefone! Press '1' if you think 'Craig' is the mole. Select '2' if you think 'Alex' is the mole" kind of feel, don't you think?
And now for the good stuff. I have three picks for who the Mole is. I tried to stay away from selecting based on my ability to determine how the producers think (uh...that's gotten me not-so-far in the past). And I'm going from game play and facial expressions only.
1. Craig. He can easily sabotage games because he's out of shape. No one gives him a second look when he can't do something physical. He's everyone's friend, he's fun to be around and he's funny. It's not in human nature to mistrust (I try to use the "mistrustfulness" or it's root word every chance I get) someone like that, so he's overlooked. Executions are highly stressful and he (like Bill, which I SHOULD HAVE PAID MORE ATTENTION TO DURING HIS SEASON) is doing a horrible job of looking nervous. He has sabotaged a number of games now and no one seems to care. It doesn't look like he has a coalition. He's my number one suspect.
2. Alex. Alex is the guy I would think the producers would pick. He speaks Spanish. And he's somewhat suspect. He tries to run things constantly, but never really pushes too hard. He just makes me suspicious.
3. Clay. All I can say is, maybe the producers realized after-the-fact what a great mole a black lawyer would be, so they tried to get a do-over. Maybe not. If he's the mole, he's doing a pretty good job of flying under the radar, but that's why he's so suspicious. But I can't believe that they would have him sabotage a game in the exact same way Bill sabotaged the clothesline game. That would be corny.
What's up with this Paul guy? Does he really think that getting under people's skin is the best way to play the game? He was amusing the first two episodes, but he has grown way too tiresome. This isn't Survivor or Big Brother or The Apprentice, where the most annoying and loud person is the focus of the show. The show is about the game, because the game is brilliant. Jon should have reigned him in at dinner during the last episode. If I were playing this season, I'd tell him to shut the hell up already. That said, he seems to pay attention well and knows how the game works. Breaking the pig to get at the exemption was brilliant. He was my favorite until last night.
Speaking of last night, um...totally awesome to have the bribe and then execute someone anyway! I can't believe what the level of stress in that room must have been like. And I can't decide if Bobby was really that pathetic or if he was sabotaging all those games as strategy. I thought he might have some kind of condition, but there's no way they'd let him on the show if he did.
Anyway, I'm thoroughly enjoying this season and hope all of you are too.

edited to add: Also, I've been told that we should come up with some kind of viral campaign to get people to watch the show (especially males, the demographic they are lagging in). Anyone have any ideas?
